Name: Milliarde “Milly” Baelheit (superhero alias: Starbreaker) (CRAU from Capital H)

Age: 21

History: canon background if ya need it: http://batenkaitos.wikia.com/wiki/Milly

Cap H AU origin story: Milly was born an only child in LA to Julius and Madelynne Baelheit, two ambitious scientists who may or may not have been working with less than savory organizations. When she was about seven years old, one of her father’s MORALLY QUESTIONABLE EXPERIMENTS went horribly wrong, killing Madelynne and gravely injuring little Milly in the process. In a desperate attempt to save his daughter’s life, Dr. Baelheit reconstructed the damaged parts of her body with cybernetic replacements, transforming her into a TRAGIC CHILD CYBORG. As she has grown, she has periodically required replacements and upgrades to her cyborg body parts, and it being her father’s area of expertise, he performs all the required maintenance. As a result, Milly has often felt like she was part daughter, part experiment, and it has put a strain on her otherwise positive and loving relationship with her father. This in combination with Baelheit’s increasing emotional distance since Madelynn’s death and what Milly perceives as his overprotectiveness, always keeping her sheltered, led to a rift between the two of them, coming to a head with a particularly vehement disagreement between them. Milly, always feeling conflicted about her cyborg parts but at the same time wanting to get out and do something with her powers, had wanted to register and join the West Coast Trailblazers, CONDOR’s youth superhero initiative program, which Baelheit had strictly forbidden. This culminated in a bit of a falling out, with Milly leaving home to strike out as a superhero on her own, although she still maintains a shaky relationship with her father as she is dependent on him to maintain her cybernetic body parts.

Aside from her TRAGIC CYBORG ADOLESCENCE, Milly has led a generally sheltered and privileged life. Despite her ever-constant yearning for adventure and action, her father kept her as out of the world as possible when she was growing up, filling her time up with private school and extracurricular activities to keep her busy. Milly is unaware of most of the details of her parents’ work before the accident, particularly the vicious nature of Baelheit’s experiments and that they worked for TRIDENT; she only knew that the legal status of her own cybernetic body parts was iffy at best, and that it would be dangerous for anyone to know, as her father had insisted her entire life.

However, things have changed during Milly’s successful career as a vigilante. Out from under Baelheit’s overprotective thumb, she’s become wiser about the world around her, gained some street smarts, and become a little less sheltered, although no less self-righteous. Milly’s relationship with her father continued to suffer under strain as her vigilante career took off; thanks to his terse scientific relationship with the resident Cybertronians going awry, Milly fell into the center of the conflict between his R&D firm and the Decepticons, and Milly suffered serious injury at their hand. Literally speaking. She tore Starscream’s arm off, but he took her hand, which had a data drive with Baelheit’s research concealed in it, and left her in near-critical condition. Using research data he had accumulated from his interactions with the Decepticons, Baelheit overhauled Milly’s energy systems to run on synthetically produced energon, as well as replacing the missing hand with one that could also transform into an energon blaster -- all of this without her consent, and the latter without even her knowledge. Milly discovered her new weapon by accident and it startled her badly, and this caused the rift between her and her father to widen considerably. She has barely spoken with him since the incident, relying on her friend and her father’s part-time employee Newt Geiszler for maintenance on her cyborg parts.

Although the idea of anyone knowing she’s a cyborg terrified Milly, things didn’t end in disaster when a few people found out. Her hesitation to join the Trailblazers even after she stopped listening to her father was the fact that registering would force her to reveal her cybernetic body, but her fellow cyborg and sort-of mentor Raiden convinced her to register and join and go legit. Her status as a cyborg no longer a secret, Milly has grown gradually less self-conscious about it and is thrilled to finally be training with the Trailblazers under CONDOR’s guidance.

Most recently in the wacky events that always seem to happen in LA, some folks from a shitty grimdark future timeline came back in time to the present to prevent the death of Princess Celestia, the head of CONDOR’s official A-list hero group Alpha Force, which catalyzed the domination of the world between the villain Sovereign and Princess Unikitty. Along with a few others, Milly traveled to the shitty grimdark future and discovered that some of her father’s work had led to the state of the world. Her future self’s near-dead body in stasis was being held hostage by Sovereign, and as a result, Raiden kind of went off the shitty grimdark future deep end and that was not a happy encounter. Upon correcting the timeline and returning to the present, Milly resolved to prevent anything that might cause her loved ones to suffer that much on her behalf.

Personality: Milly is fairly similar to her canon counterpart, although a little bit older and wiser for the kind of relationship she’s been able to have with her father in this AU. She grew up the wealthy sheltered girl -- pushy, bossy, and a little self-righteous -- but she’s had a little time to grow out of some of her adolescent immaturity, and she isn’t quite so sheltered now that she’s broken out into the superhero world. She still has a tendency to place a lot of weight on first impressions, and she can be a little judgmental, but a little time spent out from underneath her father’s thumb has certainly broadened her perspective some.

Milly is tougher than she looks, and extraordinarily tenacious; however, her feelings are far from bulletproof, and she has more than a few sore spots (the fact that she’s a cyborg not the least among them, even though she’s more comfortable with it now), which she tends to try and keep a secret rather than wearing them on her sleeve. Still, she is not a social hermit by any stretch of the imagination. She is almost aggressively social, more like a social bee than a butterfly, and delights in making friends, and her own solid moral code often leads her to (at least trying to) protect those she perceives to be “the weak and abused”. Bullies and people picking on the innocent are Milly’s least favorite kind of people, and she puts it on herself to take care of them, as she steadfastly believes that she is one of The Strong and that this is basically her job. She has a tendency to put herself on a moral high horse when it comes to that sort of thing, and she hates being talked over or ignored when she’s in Self-Righteous Hero Mode. Actually, she hates being talked over or ignored, full stop.

Milly is the opposite of outdoorsy, and she’s not a fan of muckin’ it. Despite that, she is a pretty big fan of physical activity, whether it’s dance, sports, or just plain heroic butt-kicking. She’s a pretty intelligent young lady and while she might see the value of diplomacy, she has absolutely zero trouble making peace with the fact that sometimes violence is totally the answer. She is insatiably adventurous and stubbornly curious, and she’s pretty self-confident to boot. The unfortunate flip-side to that is that she’s rather proud; she considers herself capable and pretty talented, so when she doesn’t live up to her own expectations, she gets frustrated and angry, and the more frustrated she gets, the more she wants to put her foot through several doors. She’s pretty decent at maintaining a straight face and lying if need be, but when she gets emotional, the floodgates tend to open and she loses her cool.

Although the relative lack of negative reception to her cyborg status, Milly is still a little self-conscious about her cyborg body. It’s all wrapped up in her (daddy issues) complicated relationship with her father, who was the one responsible for the accident and subsequent cybernetics, and although he saved her life, she knows she’s been used as a tinkering prototype for his research pretty much the whole time since. She’s been a cyborg most of her life, which she knows makes her Different, and Milly just wants to fit in. She tries to ignore it for the most part, but the regular maintenance needed and the occasional cybernetic breakdown are a reminder that she is not, in fact, a Real Girl anymore. She’s got a bit of a Pinocchio complex about it, and she has always felt estranged from her peers not only because of her cyborg status (Milly does not want to feel like a Freak), but because she grew up largely isolated from her social group thanks to her father. Making friends was always sort of difficult with someone as protective as Baelheit for a father. She does the hero gig because she believes in it, but there’s no doubt that she’s always hoped she can find some sense of belonging in the superhero community -- something she’s just finally starting to find after joining the Trailblazers.

Abilities/Skills: Milly is basically a Flying Brick. Her native superhero ability is flight, but her cyborg body also gives her super strength and super durability. Although she is still essentially human, most of her body at this point is composed of cybernetic replacements interwoven with her own flesh. She also has a hand that transforms into a HAND GUN (GUN HAND) and fires off energon plasma bursts, drawing on her energon fuel reserves to power it.

Outside of her superheroing, Milly is a part-time barista at an ~~artisanal cafe and bakery and makes a mean latte. She is also hella good at Sports, especially softball, soccer, and anything else that involves hitting and/or kicking things. Other than that she does not really have any valuable life skills tbh.
